When Kiez Buero took on space in Berlin’s iconic Kalle Neukoelln building, they saw an opportunity to redefine what coworking could be by blending boutique design, hospitality-grade service, and enterprise-grade connectivity. Here’s how twiindata helped them deliver.

Kiez Buero have been running coworking spaces for over 8 years. Berlin-centric, with further sites in Hamburg and Frankfurt (Oder), they focus on creating welcoming and relaxed boutique workspaces with a mix of private office and desk memberships on offer.

When Kiez Buero founder Bjoern Budack signed a lease for a new office space at Kalle Neukoelln – a prestigious redeveloped Berlin landmark – he decided to create a very different type of workspace, with an enhanced fit out and service level.

“I think it’s the most interesting office building in Berlin right now. An old department store with a parking garage, completely gutted and rebuilt, so very sustainable. In terms of concept, it is very open, with a food court on the ground floor, 4,500 square meters of roof terrace with a swimming pool and restaurants.”

But if the internet goes down? There is no easy alternative” Bjoern explained.
