By putting this strong core offering in place Katy believes that, “We can allow location teams the flexibility to create a service which suits the location, through customer service, member experience and event curation. We also recruit locally to gain knowledge and understanding of the area. We don’t go into the market making any assumptions about what will work. It’s for our teams to develop.”
Wherever their workspaces are, central to the Clockwise ethic is being part of and giving back to the local community. According to Katy, “It’s a values-driven business and its important to maintain that at the core of what we do as we grow. Most obviously we do this through our events program, which focuses on personal and professional development, wellbeing and socialising. This outline allows local community managers to curate their program to suit the local clients and culture. What works in one location won’t necessarily work in another, whether that’s Manchester or The Hague.”
