At St Paul’s House in Leeds, Orega were informed with just three days’ notice that the building’s existing leased lines were due to be disconnected. Orega were advised that the only way to avoid disruption was to temporarily extend the existing service with significant increased costs. Disconnection would put around 40 tenant businesses at immediate risk of losing internet access. These included law firms, financial services, consultants, and creative agencies, all heavily reliant on high-speed, uninterrupted connectivity. Orega were faced with a potential business-critical outage.
An outage would have severely disrupted day-to-day operations, damaged Orega’s reputation, and potentially breached service commitments. The team needed both a short-term fix within days and a longer-term solution to maintain business continuity.
The Solution

Using existing routing, we restored connectivity in time to avoid disruption.
