Our people are our brand
At technologywithin, we always say that our people are our brand. This is true from the first sales call, through working with our projects team during installation, to the everyday interactions with our support and account teams. We are confident that our people will listen to our clients, be constructive and proactive in their actions and offer great service.
Ensuring that our team feel supported, recognised and rewarded is the way that we do this.
We treat our people fairly, offering decent compensation and benefit packages, including medical cover and regular training. Our employment contracts offer home and flexible working where needed and our employee handbook includes clear policies on everything from mental health support to whistle blowing.
Having a good working atmosphere and a sense of trust amongst our team is key and we achieve that through a flat organisation structure, an informal and open approach to communications and a belief that good ideas come from anywhere. We also know what’s important to our team – regular pizza lunches and branded hoodies – and make sure that we deliver!

Community and Social Impact
As a company we are thoughtful about our social impact and look to support causes and projects which have a natural fit with ours.
We choose to support our local community through our chosen charity, The Society of St. James , who support homeless people in Hampshire (home to our Head Office). We have supported them for over 10 years and to date, we have donated over 1200 items of office and communications equipment to Jamies, their linked organisation, which recycles and sells it to raise vital funds.
We also support the charity in other ways, such as donating to their Christmas appeal in lieu of sending Christmas cards to our clients. Since 2021 we have hosted an annual fundraising Bike Ride, the technologywithin Grand Fondo, where our team and clients ride 100km around the beautiful New Forest surrounding our HQ.
We are proud technology partners of Urban MBA, who provide enterprise programmes and best of breed business courses aimed to help young people develop their ideas and start their own sustainable commercial and social businesses. Our technology powers their edtech hub and coworking space in Hackney.
In 2024 our Managing Director and Technical Director took part in Cycle to MIPIM, cycling 1500km from London to Cannes the week before the MIPIM Cannes conference. They raised over £8,000 in support of the Club Peloton Charities; Coram Adoption, Cyclists Fighting Cancer and the Tom Ap Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust
Within the Flexible workspace sector we saw an opportunity to improve equality at Board level. So, we have partnered with FlexSA to create the Women In Flex event series, which has been running since 2022, to encourage the many women in junior positions to aspire to Board level roles in the future. We co-host panel events with operators where we interview women working at Board level to share their career stories and top tips for development.
Safety as a priority
Our engineers visit customer sites to install and maintain equipment, so we have both policies and training in place that ensure our team work safely, to protect themselves, our customers and their clients. These are independently audited annually and always available to our clients.
