Existing network hardware was retained wherever possible, reducing unnecessary equipment replacement and waste. Remote network management significantly reduced the need for engineer visits, while the installation process was designed to minimise packaging and avoid introducing unnecessary plastics into the supply chain.
The long-term sustainability benefits continue beyond installation. By delivering enterprise-grade networking from day one, members are less likely to install their own additional networking equipment, reducing energy consumption, hardware waste and unnecessary complexity throughout the building.
